Frequently Asked Questionns
How often are patients seen?
The frequency of appointments is tailored to each patient's clinical needs. We will discuss and determine the appropriate schedule for follow-up appointments during each session. While it is rare for patients to require evaluations more frequently than once a month, to maintain active status in my practice, patients must be seen at least once every two months.
What if I already have a therapist?
I often work with patients who have ongoing therapy relationships. If you are already seeing a therapist, I request your permission to collaborate with them after our initial evaluation. This ensures continuous care and maximizes the effectiveness of your treatment by maintaining open communication with your existing treatment team.
Where is your office located?
My practice is located in the Medical Tower in the Rittenhouse Square section of Philadelphia, PA.
Is parking available?
Street parking is limited. I recommend using the Latimer Garage at 1510 Latimer St., Philadelphia, PA. This garage is conveniently located near the office.
Do you offer virtual services?
While in-person sessions are always preferred and recommended, I understand that logistics can sometimes restrict access. Virtual consultations are available for residents of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. Please note that virtual sessions are conducted only when a patient is physically located in one of these states at the time of the consultation.
Controlled Substance Policy:
Controlled substances, including stimulants and benzodiazepines, may be part of your treatment plan on a case-by-case basis. Federal law requires that these medications be prescribed only after an in-person evaluation. Regular in-person follow-up appointments are also mandatory, with the frequency dictated by both state and federal regulations. Please note that I am registered with the DEA in New Jersey and Pennsylvania only. Patients located outside these states will need to make alternative treatment arrangements for these types of medications.
Cancellation Policy:
I reserve appointment times specifically for each patient, so I ask for a 48-business hour notice for cancellations. This allows me to offer the slot to someone else in need. Late cancellations or no-shows will incur a charge equal to the full rate of the intended session.

What are your fees?
Adult Initial Evaluation (60-90 minutes): $500
Child Initial Evaluation (90-120 minutes): $500
50-Minute Follow-Up Appointments: $400
25-Minute Follow-Up Appointments: $250
Do you accept insurance?
I do not participate in direct insurance billing in order to provide you with optimal care without the constraints often imposed by insurance providers. This allows me to tailor your treatment plan to best meet your needs, without limitations. As an alternative, I can provide a superbill upon request. A superbill is an itemized receipt detailing the services provided, which you can submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement.
